With recent current events making time for creative healing, peace, and compassion sounds like a mighty good idea. Violence. Hate. Trauma. News of these acts gets to all of us. Let us stand together and show our support for the families that will never be the same. Let us remember them. Let us send healing thoughts their way, letting them know they are not alone.
I have a community garden plot in the Armory Garden and my backyard conveniently backs up to the Armory green space. Since I can't drive because of brain injury and PTSD I chose this community space. We will meet outside of the community garden. No walking around the garden and invading people's plots. That would be oh so rude! :)
I will bring coloring pages, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. Feel free to bring your own too!
Bring a comfy camp chair or blanket to sit on. And a flash light! No candles because it has been so dry and we don't want to set things on fire.
Highly recommend bringing a clipboard, hard backed book, or something like that to use for coloring. No obligation to color. Sit, enjoy the open sky, and think healing thoughts.
